Aftermarket Exhaust Size
-
Diesel Trucks equipped with an aftermarket exhaust system typically have a 4” or 5” inlet size.
-
Gas Trucks equipped with aftermarket exhaust systems often have 2.5”, 3”, 3.5”, or 4” inlet sizes.
-
If you are unsure which size you need, measure the diameter (across the opening). Then select the same size as your exhaust.
-
If your exhaust measures between sizes, size up as the tabs will close to fit your exhaust.

Show-Quality Design. For a High-Quality Build. At an Affordable Cost.
From the halls of SEMA to the faded lines of the Wal-Mart parking lot, your build deserves nothing but the best. Every exhaust tip we make is held to the same standards as the tips we send to be displayed on the trucks at SEMA.
Show-quality finishes demand a two-day process and an incredible eye for detail. Of course, we could have cheaped out to save a few bucks, but what's the fun in that? Quality and details are what make a TSO Exhaust Tip a TSO Exhaust Tip.
Product Reviews
Why we have this design Patented.
Patented Tabbed Inlet Design is a breeze to install. With an innovative air pass-through, your tip is sure to stay cool and look killer. Featuring a bolt-through design with stainless steel hardware, your tip is mounted, Securely.
We set out to make an exhaust tip that looked killer and functioned better than it looks. With crime rates rising, you can have the confidence in knowing it will be a difficult task for someone to remove your tip in a hurry. If someone wants it bad enough, they can remove it, but they will have a time getting it off.

Installing our " Freedom Exhaust Tip" is slightly different than a traditional exhaust tip.. for a good reason.
The Freedom Tip requires that you drill 4 x 11/32" holes and then use the nuts, bolts, washers and lock washers to secure the tip to your exhaust. All tips ship with Stainless Steel hardware included, so there's no need to source them yourself.
Full install instructions will be sent by email when your tip leaves our facility.
No, there is no need to weld this exhaust tip. Additionally, Welding the tip to your exhaust will VOID the warranty. When welding, the metal around the weld becomes weaker which could lead to the tabs breaking off.
Our Patented Tabbed Inlet design utilizes a flow through design to aid in cooling the tip to prolong the finish of The Freedom Tip.
Since we use heavy-duty American 304 Stainless Steel, our exhaust tips are heavier than other tips on the market, so we had to get creative because a band clamp cannot support the weight of an 8lb exhaust tip. We needed a physical object, or a bolt, to prevent the tip from sliding up and down your exhaust as you hit potholes or bumps on the trail.
The Tabbed Inlet solved that while cutting the build time in half, which means a lower cost item to produce and in turn, a higher quality exhaust tip for less.
Yes! Our exhaust tips are made for heavy duty 18 Gauge 304 Stainless Steel and treated with a 4-Stage powder coat.

About TSO Manufacturing
Your Ultimate Source for Custom Aftermarket Truck Accessories!
Meet the Founder:
Ben Mottern, known to some as Mr. Tristar, and I'm the driving force behind this journey. It all started when I was just 17 years old, sitting in a high school welding class. Little did I know that this moment would mark the inception of TSO.
To be completely honest, I sold my first exhaust tip before I had even picked up a MIG welding gun. It's safe to say that I had to learn how to weld pretty darn quickly. Determination and the desire to bring innovation to the world of truck accessories were my guiding lights.
During the following summer, I embarked on my dream of playing college baseball. But even as I pursued my athletic goals, my passion for truck accessories never wavered. I had a 12'x7' trailer parked outside my college apartment, where I worked tirelessly after baseball practices. Just across the parking lot, my dad's flatbed trailer became the canvas for my creativity. I transformed it into a sheet metal brake that allowed me to bend our signature Octagon Exhaust Tips and Stacks.
However, life often takes unexpected turns. My dream of playing college baseball eventually came to an end after my first semester. With a new found focus, I made the decision to quit baseball, transfer schools, and move back home. This shift allowed me to allocate more time to nurture the growing business I had fallen in love with.
Back home, I needed more space to accommodate our expanding operations. So, I moved into a modest 15'x10' shed beside my parent's house. At that point, I was producing around 15 to 20 tips and stacks per month, a number that seemed astonishing at the time.
Fast forward three years to today, and the transformation has been remarkable. We've gone from producing 15-20 tips per month to crafting over 40 tips per day! Our journey has been defined by growth, but one thing remains unwavering: our commitment to quality and making customization accessible to the everyday builder.
At TSO, we take immense pride in providing truck enthusiasts with the highest quality exhaust tips that boast the highest degrees of customization. Each tip is meticulously TIG welded by hand, subjected to multiple quality control inspections, and powder coated in-house. Why? Because your truck build deserves nothing but the best.
Our story is one of passion, dedication, and a relentless pursuit of excellence. We invite you to explore our range of aftermarket truck accessories and experience the TSO difference for yourself. Whether you're looking to enhance your truck's performance or make a statement on the road, TSO is here to help you turn your vision into reality.
Thank you for joining us on this incredible journey. Together, we're driving the future of truck customization, one exhaust tip at a time.
Sincerely,
Ben Mottern Founder, TSO
