Truck shows are a fun and exciting for anyone passionate about building trucks. These events bring brands, influencers, locals, and enthusiasts together to showcase what the truck community is all about!
Here are the top 5 reasons you should attend a truck show in 2024.
1. Community
The best way to meet a group of like-minded people is at a truck show. Shows are a place for you to show, to share your experience, and to learn from others. They are a great place to hangout with your buddies or meet new people. The show truck community can help you personally or professionally, whether you're a die-hard enthusiast or someone just getting started!
2. Inspiration
One of the best things about truck shows is gaining inspiration for what to do to your truck next. From dedicated show trucks on 30s to beat up daily drivers, you're sure to come home with inspiration for your build! Maybe you see a powder coat color you like or a mod that doesn't look as good in person, the possibilities are endless.
Plus you get to see TSO products in up close, in-person. We may be biased but who doesn't love checking out the trucks with TSO Tips and Frame Overlays?
3. Builds Unlike Any Other
Truck shows are the only place you will see a truck on a 20" lift and 30s, a truck with over 1,000hp and the everyday builders trucks in the same place. People spend their entire lives building trucks to display at shows. To some, it's a vehicle. To others, it's a work of art.
4. Meet the People Behind Your Favorite Builds and Brands
Truck shows bring out the big name influencers and brands to one place. Nowhere else can you talk with the person who designed the most bad*** exhaust tips and frame overlays, and the girl with the Anylevel F450 in the same place. Often, you can get a sneak peak or a discount on the new products brands are offering. Better yet, most brands, including us, give free swag to those who stop by their booth!
5. Fun and Entertainment
Truck shows are the perfect place to meet up with your buddies to crack a cold one. Many truck shows offer live music, food, and other entertainment options. You can enjoy a wide range of activities, such as show-and-shine, dynos, and burnout competitions. You can also participate in games, raffles, and other fun events. These activities create a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere, which helps you unwind and recharge.
Here is a few of the shows we're attending in 2024:
- Music City Showdown (Nashville, TN)
- Smoky Mountain Truck Fest (Sevierville, TN)
You don't have to drive half way across the country to attend a truck show. Most cities and towns have spots where locals meet. I'm sure you've seen a bunch of trucks parked in a Walmart parking lot on a Friday night. The more you put into the truck community, the more you will get out.
